FIM Gives Back – A Day at Hunger Busters

Since Fresh Ink originated, we’ve made supporting great organizations a part of
our company philosophy. Every month, we donate a portion of our
profits to a charity or organization chosen by one of our Fresh Ink family. In months past, we’ve been a part of giving back to inspiring organizations like Dallas Pets Alive!, Elijah Rising and the Boys & Girls Club of America.

We’ve gotten to see what being active in our community means and it’s become a core part of who we are. Through our donations, we’ve helped to provide pet beds for shelter dogs, helped victims of human trafficking get the support that they need, and even helped to provide water wells for communities in India. It’s amazing to be a part of this and it got us thinking, “What else could we do to give back?”

IMG_5397Well, this month, we were excited to put giving into action by donating our time by partnering with Entrepreneurs for North Texas, a group dedicated to bringing businesses together to support the community. As a part of our Giving Back Initiative, Fresh Ink joined with other EFNT companies to volunteer at Hunger Busters, a local charitable organization, on Monday, July 27th. Together, we were able to assemble over 741 meals for children in need in the Dallas Fort-Worth area in a little over two hours.

Hunger Busters is dedicated to providing a much-needed third meal of the day to kids in and around our city and Fresh Ink sent four participants to the event: Amanda Sulc, Cameron Grigsby, Marcus Belmore and Raul Machuca. Together, they helped build sandwiches, pack lunch bags, and sort fruit so that this great organization can keep providing meals for kids who might not be able to get one.

EFNT4This event was a part of an EFNT-hosted Plug N’ Play volunteer event aimed
at helping get companies together to give back. We were also excited volunteer with other EFNT members like Dale Carnegie Training of DFW, Optimal Blue, Business Navigators, Venturity Financial Partners, Communities Foundation of Texas, ASI Business Solutions, and Business Access LLC! If you’d like to find out more about EFNT’s Plug N’ Play volunteer events, you can visit EFNT’s event page for more details (http://efnt.org/events-opportunities/).

It’s not the things that you achieve but the ways in which you give back to
the community that really matter. And here at Fresh Ink
Marketing, we firmly believe that. To read more about our Giving Back Initiative, visit our giving back page at
