At Fresh Ink, we know that giving back through service can help a community to thrive and grow.
Part of our company’s mission is to leave our community, friends, and neighbors in a better place than they were when we were founded. Over the past few months, we have been working with Entrepreneurs For North Texas, a group that brings together businesses with similar service-minded goals, to put our giving initiative into action.
In remembrance of 9/11, FIM joined alongside Entrepreneurs For North Texas on September 11th, 2015 for an event called Freedom Day. Drawing an overwhelming response from nearly 800 volunteers, the event provided volunteer services to organizations that benefit veterans, at-risk youth, children with special needs, and neighborhoods in the North Texas area.
Fresh Ink sent three representatives to join in the fun of the giving back initiative. Amanda Sulc, Alex Ainsworth, and Marcus Belmore
teamed up with dozens of other volunteers at the Texas Horse Park to clear brush and debris from one of their beautiful horse-riding trails. They put in a hard day’s work sawing dead limbs, bagging debris, and leaving the trail in impeccable condition. The effort that they put in will go to help the park’s Equest Program, which provides therapeutic sports riding classes to active military service members and honorably discharged veterans.
We are proud to have teamed up with such a fantastic group and have contributed to an organization that does so much to help those in our community. If you’d like to find out more about EFNT’s volunteer events and how you can give back to the North Texas community, you can visit EFNT’s event page for more details (http://efnt.org/events-opportunities/).
Success isn’t always measured solely by your individual achievements. The ways in which you benefit others matter just as much. And here at Fresh Ink Marketing, we believe that 100%.
